What is Anti Social Behaviour?
Anti Social Behaviour is not necessarily a crime but causes misery in many peoples lives. It’s associated with everyday problems like nuisance neighbours, noise, graffiti, vehicle crime, vandalism, verbal abuse, intimidation, harassment and street drinking.

Sedgefield Community Safety Partnership, the Borough Council and Durham Constabulary are working together to tackle these issues. Anti Social Behaviour in Sedgefield Borough will not be tolerated.

We do however, ask you to take into consideration the differences in peoples' culture and backgrounds. A lot of issues are due to people's perceptions. For example, what one person may class as youths causing annoyance may, to another be youths playing.
